Engine not revving properly when clutch depressed

So I have been having this problem since I bought the car, like 6 weeks ago, and I have searched everywhere for people who have had the same problem and came up with nothing. So what’s happening is when you press the clutch in in any gear the rpms rise about 200 above idle, and it rises once you press the clutch just pass the ‘dead zone’ where there is little pressure. And if you rev it when pressed in, it revs like a sloppy diesel and completely changes tone and torques the whole car. It’s really annoying when you’re trying to start moving because it feels like you have little power especially how slow the motor revs, and well as downshifting where you have to lay into the throttle to bring the revs up properly. I checked the ignition switch that’s connected to the clutch to tell the car that the clutch is in when starting it and it looks perfectly fine. I have no idea what it could and would appreciate the help and I have recorded a short video showing it.

I had an E92 335i with the N55 engine. It would bump the RPM by about 200 when I was idling and pressed the clutch in. I always thought it was the car giving you some help to get it going.

That’s what I thought too at first, but quickly noticed that when you rev it, it loses its free revving nature and sounds bogged down.
