When rebuilding, any reason why not going OE (vs aftermarket) spring retainers and pins might be a bad idea? Looking to get something like this instead of paying the $90 for the BMW pins/spring retainers (whats left that can be found - which is the other problem).

Is there a solution to fit 345mm F30 calipers and discs to a e91 320d without cutting up calipers?

Am I right in thinking eccentric bushes and a spacer between hub and disc would work?

Does anyone know where to buy these?

I installed the F30 front (340mm) and rear (354mm) calipers on a E90 330D LCI.
Only needed the eccentric bushes for the rear, no spacers or cutting calipers.
Bushes from here

Front discs/rotors are F30 340mm and for rear you need E60 345mm (Zimmerman)

Does the 320d have a smaller (~165 mm inside 172mm outside) hat and ebrake? If so use the smaller rotors that are spec'd for F20 (check my post on p89 for the part#)

To my knowledge they are for all 4cyl F-chassis based 1, 2, 3 and 4 series yes? . like f30 320i and 328i/330i...not only F20

That's true. All the lower end power models had the smaller ebrake.

Yes they do, and I know you can pop a 345mm disc on and hand brake will work 👍👍

Ok then the answer is hub spacers. Talk to Cypis_335d. He's makes some specifically for that - Turbid may as well.

Hi, just to double check on potential catches here...I have E91 330i LCI and consider upgrade of REAR brake calipers (should be the same hub as yours....with discs 336x22 mm). I found F30 calipers (oem nr 34216799461 and 2). Are the mentioned eccentric bushes and E60 345mm discs all I need for painless instalation? Do you have any pics from your installation od the rear calipers? Thx

I have an issue with the pad seeming to be too close to the hub. There is about 2-3mm on the outer edge of the rotor that is not getting contact and the inner edge of the pad hangs over a tad. This is causing a squeal when hot. I will remove the pads and cham fer the inner edges at a later date.
I also used eccentric bushings and Cquence rotors and have the same issue with pads not hitting the very outer edge of the disc like yours and getting a squeal it seems also. Did you fix this issue, and how?

Thanks again for all, got all the parts for M4 discs conversion and just trying to justify the new discs since others are still pretty fresh/new... guess I need the brake more!

Yes virus, slowed it down a lot. Got mine like 2-3 weeks ago, so you should be close now. I may sell mine with light wear if someone interested. 345 rear custom drilled to match Zimmerman's and OEM bmw 370 fronts.

Is that a spacer to make the caliper accept wider/thicker rotors?

Certainly looks like it. I wonder how well it is sealed hydraulically.
Any pictures of what they look like split?

I honestly don’t see the purpose for that. These calipers are just ok. Biggest negative are the small brake pads.

I had client who wanted thicker discs but still use tor 18" There was no place to use m4 disc.. so I laser cut spacer than machined to use oring. Make Longer pins and now no overheating on A track. In his car.
