'09 328i Misfire While Idling

Hello, so while idling in a parking lot waiting for my wife, my car idle dropped to about 600 accompanied by a vibration. The service light came on, and it displayed the engine malfunction, reduced power notice. I turned the engine off an back on, and the malfunction light was gone, and car drove home fine, no noticeable difference. I had O'Riley's read the codes and the guy handed me a note with the following codes and descriptions:

-10887 Cam Shaft Timing
-10808 Valvetronic Bank 1
-11526 MAF
-10704 Misfire
-10705 Misfire
-10706 Misfire
-10700 Multiple Misfire
-10720 Air/Fuel Lean
-10721 Air/Fuel Rich
I'm somewhat of a novice, but I always DIY, and would prefer to not go to a shop at all if I can help it, so any help would be much appreciated, I've never had a car throw so many codes all at once, and I can't find anything through google(too many keywords I think). Thanks.

Well since you have a MAF codes, try disconnecting the mass air flow sensor plug while the car is running, if its a bad MAF the engine should smooth out as the car returns back to default settings.

Mass air flow sensor calculates the air coming in through the intake and the DME calculates how much air / fuel to give it, which would return those lean / rich codes.

I'd get the faults read out be someone with BMW specific tools like INPA. There might be other codes available with more clues.

INPA will read out the vehicle mileage when these errors happened and will read out errors in the history. Generic reader can't do this.

If there are more errors and they all happened at the same time while idling. I'd look at the age of your battery.
