imt the same with meguires,,anyway i bought some siminez from wilkinsons,,was on offer for £2 for 1 litre,,usually £4,,,and dear me its better ,,it lathers up,,aslong as you do the vigorous mixing beforehand,,and it cleans just as well,,worth a shot..especially if its still £2,,this was a while ago,,but i checked couple months ago anfd they had it for £2.50,,also their drying towels are great at £2,,they are grey and micro fibre but value for money..i bought 4 https://www.wilko.com/en-uk/simoniz-...x-1l/p/0344877

Cheers mate. I know mine doesn't lather much just want a good quality shampoo that soaps up well. Was going try meg's but heard also it doesn't lather up well ? Only thing about cheaper ones is does it have any protectant in it ? Heard the more expensive ones have like a coating of wax etc in them ? Don't mind spending the money as want a good one .

No such thing as best, they all do different things and you have to pick the one that works for you.
A decent shampoo should contain no waxes or anything as you put that on as a separate step/product.

I use Autofinesse Lather.

Agree ! Best is not the word I should of used ! I just want a good high end brand alternative that lathers up well and gives a good clean shine. I use carnuba on her anyway by the bucket load so she shines well. I believe the auto g one has some sort of anti corrosive stuff in it ? To help protect the car, that's what I read anyway ! Just want a good soapy wash to use !

personally, you cant go wrong with chemical guys products... their gloss shampoos are the best i have used, especially if you have darker paintwork.

I don't use dedicated car shampoo - i buy a 5l lot of AutoBrite Direct's Superfoam (NOT magifoam as it costs a fortune) and put that in a bucket. Cleans well and foams well. Can also be used in a foam lance.

Have tried a few snow foams with my nilfisk jet wash, the conclusion was that I need a better lance, to create more foam. Just in case you decide to do the same.

if your using the bottle/lance that you get with the jetwash,,then they are useless,,around £20 gets you a decent bottle/lance//its not really a lance its just a brass connection with the ability to pressurise the foam which screws onto the bottle
