E90 330D Inlet Manifold Clean - Tips?
I have a used inlet manifold in the garage that I want to deep clean. I have removed everything off it including the EGR and am going to soak it for 24 hours in a mixture of water and caustic soda.
So should I chuck the metal EGR valve in there too? Also should I be doing a swirl flap delete? I believe my car currently has this but would rather buy another set and get it all ready for a simple bolt on job. |

Ordered these off Ebay, more expensive than most but they look decent and the gaskets are made in Germany.
