They look like the 3 series versions of mine which I thought would make the 124’s????? AKA elipsoids. Look good on the touring anyway. Most people these days seem to like the spindly spokey look but I prefer the cleaner simple chunky spoke look personally.

Just looked on the wheel style webpage. Indeed yours are 162’s and mine are 124’s. They look very similar but I guess mine are a bit more dished. I’m running non run flats and they do significantly improve the ride quality.

Loving the look of the 162’s, good choice!
I’ve also got a Le Mans blue E91 320D, currently on the 193 style wheels but they all have cracks so I’m looking at replacing them all (big thanks to the previous owner who blatantly knew they were all cracked).
I’m trying to convince the missus it makes sense to go for a set of 19” CSL style wheels....not sure she’ll go for it though!

I looked at 124s but I prefer the concave and simple face on the 162s. But very similar wheels overall. 👍👍

The only reason I didn't go for 19s is they ride hard and 19in tyres will break the bank top often with the mileage I'm doing! They look very very nice though!!

Agreed, it's the concave face of 162s that's cool.

Trust me, you don't want to see pictures of my car... Fun fact; I've never washed a car, or had my car washed, except what the dealers do when you get recall work done.

This is a very sensible attitude and I should do the same, but I figure you only live once so I’m going to go for it!

YOLO! Fair enough! I own a Z4 coupe with 19s and that's a harsh ride. Decided the daily should be a bit more comfortable if I'm covering big mileages!

This is the best you're getting, lemans_e91

Had to have a half-arsed attempt at washing a car, because seemingly there are live pterodactyls in Wiltshire...

Mate, how big are the birds up there?!?

Looks good, the 162s really suit the shape, I reckon.

I have no idea! I actually didn't know what had happened for a second - the windscreen was plastered!

Remind me to avoid the area then!

Only 3 reasons you need to be in Trowbridge; work, cheap houses, or you're lost. For me its the first 2, and occasionally the 3rd one.

Fair enough then! Unless I get lost, you won't see my wagon rolling by Trowbridge!

In other news, I fitted some 4D plates and some LED rear plate lights. Nothing earth-shattering, but they're nice little cosmetic changes. I'll try get some pics of them soon.
