Sorry, i know there are some issues about how the 8 (or 9) actually has more power but you can get an Evolution X for 2-3,000 more than your asking price. As a layman, does not look appetizing at all.

you can get an evoX for a bit more, and thats fine
but there are many differences
the 4g63 in the evo 8 and 9 can make alot of power, very easily and relatively cheap compared to the evo Xs
these are much lighter then the new ones
and they have a more racey feel to them compared to the new ones which are trying to be more "luxurious"
id take an 8 or 9 over a 10 any day, if you owned or driven them, you would understand

I have to agree with the OP. I love the 8's and 9's but would literally take a shit on the hood of a X. 4G63 is where the money's at! I miss my 06 RS...she was a beauty

bmw is my daily drive and the evo is for the weekend and racetrack fun!
get yourself a black turbo some injectors a motec m800 plug and play and enjoy the 4x4 power!!

+1 for OP, I sold my evo VIII and bought a 335i, nothing is as raw and connected as the feel of an evo 8/9. the X feels like a bathtub that handles well lol.

well i have an 06 babied and more mods and planning to sell it for way less than that. but of course im gonna part out. you should think of parting your car out and dropping the price for a much quicker sale. btw AS is the best color.

as far as parting it out, i have some parts i can ditch but the thing is right now everything is set up so perfectly, i would hate to disturb anything

i have interest in the car as is, and some trades possible
no one seems to be completely stepping up though
and for price wise, it might be a tad bit high but i feel like its well worth the price, even though the market is semi shitty
if i had a decent offer id take it
