Even before that replace the stock CP, I used BMS it was easy to replace, keeps the stock c clamp and fits like a glove, there isn't going to be much difference in performance based on CP brand, but FMIC should definitely be next. Unfortunately our turbos will max out around 390whp, but how fast of a car did you want? It's pretty fast with the tune itself.

start with 3 to 4 gallons of e85 fill the rest with your 92 use map 5 and you'll be good with the bump in power for a while be sure to upgrade your fmic charge pipes ? go with ER charge pipe or BMS do some reading on the meth make sure you get a lot of information about how to run it properly good luck |

well..ive done some research.. and theres no place who sells the e85 near seattle... i hate my town soo much Q_Q ... So, ER charge pipe and the FMIC will be my next step. how much whp will gain after using ER charge pipe and FMIC with the 92 occ. will there be a huge difference? |

You beat me to it, haven't seen an N55 over 400whp yet, the turbos just run out of breath. The highest I have seen is around 390 somethin

It’s gunna be tough to get 400 awhp out of those stock housings, the twin scroll runs out of breath and there’s not much you can do to overcome that. With all that said, E50 + Meth would allow you to totally max things out from a flow and heat standpoint, you could run some very aggressive advance with that. Just don’t think there’s enough flow to accommodate 400 all wheel. Hell 400awhp on a stock turbo N54 isn’t an easy task, the awd cars are always heartbreakers on the dyno.
How the hell did someone get 500 wtq out of a stock frame twin scroll N55? Would love to see that dyno plot, along with a baseline. Not questioning integrity of that poster, but that would be the most torque from an N55...ever?

Why is everyone stuck on plurals, like turbos and housings? It is a single turbo guys! Wait another 2-4 weeks and keep an eye on the Vargas thread, that is going to be our first turbo option. Save a few more pennies too, as it will be $4k instead of your max of $3,500. Throw a tune on top of that and probably figure $4,500 but you should be well over 420awhp.

Looks like the N55 is about to hit the spotlight though with these upgraded turbo setups. Very interested to see the “tires hit the pavement” in terms of how much whp this motor can take. Lots of conjecture, nothing of substance. Exciting times for N55s, no doubt.
