E90 N55 - Oil Catch Can Recommendation?

Hey!

I am curious if a catch can is necessary for the E90 N55 or not? If so, any recommendations on vendors would be greatly appreciated! Quality and looks are favored over price. Currently leaning towards Mishimoto.

Cheers

I bought one from BMS. The bracket got kind of corroded on top but it works well. I've never seen it fill up. Over a year it'll have a small puddle at the bottom, if that.

I don’t think you really need one for a n55 as a n54.

Good info, thanks guys! The corrosion on the BMS is a bit strange for a short period of time. I appreciate the heads up.

I've got a BMS catch can on my n55. There's not much oil to catch but there is a lot of moisture. Keeping water vapor/water out of the motor is a good thing. Mine gets about 3/4 full every 6 months.

How many miles do you typically drive in that time?
