DPF light reset help

Sorry if this is not in the right place, my 2011 320d dpf light has come on ive done 170k in it but would like to reset it or try a regen, could anyone guide me on the software and cable I would need to use ( the simplest way please) Thanks in advance

The Carly app For iPhone and android can be used to force a Regen if you pay for the full version, I also thing bimmer link can do it too.

You would also need a compatible WIFI or Bluetooth OBD2 plug.
