I need suspension décision help!

Hello, I am fairly new to cars and I have a 328i xdrive (E90). I recently installed H&R sport lowering springs on it, and am now looking into purchasing bilstein shocks and struts. I am looking at B6 and B8. My understanding is that B6 is for stock springs, and B8 works better with lowering springs.[IMG][/IMG] This is what I am looking at to order. Would this be the correct suspension kit for my springs? It says it doesn't fit my car, which I also do not understand as it says it fits 2011 328i. I am young, dumb, and inexperienced so please help me!

Since you lowered your car you need B8. B6 is longer and not suitable for your springs anymore.

The kit in that pic is for RWD. AWD takes different parts.

"kit" is literally package of 4 shocks. You can buy them individually, or all at once in this "kit". Kit, just makes it easier to place in the cart and checkout.

He is already lowered, so B8s are appropriate shocks. If he remained on stock springs, then he would need B6.

He can buy them however he wants, they would be the wrong parts because RWD takes different parts than AWD.

This is what he wants: https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw...lus-35142478kt

HR springs & Bikstein B8's. I hope you have smooth pothole free roads where you live. That's going to be a stiff ride.

r4dr linked the ones you want

I have Bilstein B8s and Eibach Pro Kit springs on my 330xi and the rides definitely stiffer than stock. I feel every little thing on the road (which isn't good considering Colorado has shit roads compared to places like Arizona or Cali). Overall handling is much better though

This he is a she. However, I realized it was for RWD. I decided on these. I'm looking forward to installation!

Yeah I know. That's why I didn't get H&R.

It's been a while since I did the research, but I recall the Eibach Pro-Kit springs being around the same spring rate as the sport package springs, just lower (RWD specifically, no idea if that translates to AWD too).

I have a RWD E91 with Pro-Kit springs and B4 struts + shocks (the model for the lower sport springs) but I kind of wish I had just spent a little extra for B8s. Either way, it rides and looks great.

Don't forget to replace all the little rubber bushings and bits around the suspension system. No sense in getting nice new dampers and attaching them to the car with shot rubber pieces.

Hey all, thought I'd just hop on looking for some advice.

I'd like to drop my ride height and have better handling. I've got msport suspension now on my 335i. I've had eibach redline (more exaduarated lowering springs) in previous cars and they have been spot on.

Does anyone know if Eibach make a redline or something similar other than the less noticeable pro kit options?

Thanks

Be sure before you purchase shocks like the B8's. If you live in a area with poor roads you will hate the ride due to it's back breaking stiffness.
