Coding help needed for Satellite Radio module

All,

Please go easy on me, im a coding newbie.

I recently added a bluetooth streaming box as per a DIY from this site. My first time coding, i removed $694 and added $672 to the CAS & FRM then i processed ECU - 2URAD. Works great, i have the CDC option on my Professional Non Nav radio and i can stream bluetooth.
I recently purchased a used satellite receiver and plugged it in. I deleted $693 and added $655 to the CAS AND FRM and then processed ECU - 2URAD. The SAT option popped up on the radio however i was not able to select it and at the same time i lost the CDC option. So i did the bluetooth coding again and now i have CDC but not SAT.

Can anyone assist? Why did i lose the CDC option - should i have removed 694 and 693 and added 672 and 655 at the same time from the CAS & FRM then factory coded to the 2URAD?
Do i need to code the car for it to know there is a satellite receiver now? If yes can someone assist me on how to do that?

Thanks
Rube

Take a look at what is says in your Radio file or Idrive Files and see what
is aktiv.

I drive is much harder because the files are different for CIC and CCC
I don't know the details.

If you don’t mind explaining how do I see in the radio file?

There are hundreds of DIY's on how to use NCS expert on ytube
and the internet in general.

Some of them skip some steps such as saving a master file
and a copy of every file you edit both a virgin copy and a modified
file.

The difference here is you want to choose e89 as your chassis.
Read and save the master file
Then read the Rad file if you have a pro radio.
save a copy of your radio file
then make the changes to your radio file copy as a .man file
code the radio.
Then read the file from the radio to see if it took.

So I got it working now! Used ncsexpert and loaded the Manipulation profile and deleted $693 and $694 and added $672 and $655 at the same time in the VO to the CAS and FRM and then coded the 2URAD. So now I have the CDC for my Mr.12Volt Bluetooth module and also SAT available in the audio menu. I didn’t see any light in the fiber optic connector for the satellite module at this point and I couldn’t select SAT from the audio menu.
Then I went to the MOST junction box behind drivers side rear seat and moved around the fiber optic cables as per the PDF that’s floating around online. My fiber optic cables were not in the same configuration as the PDF although even it states yours might look different. I labeled everything first so I could revert back if I had to. I took the in/out fiber optic cables from position 3 on the upper connector since I didn’t have any in position 4 like the PDF states. Then I slid all the cables on the top part of the lower connector over 1 position to vacate the #1 position and I slid all the cables on the bottom part of the lower connector (except the cable in lower position #1) to the right to vacate the #2 position. I plugged in the previously removed cables from the upper connector and now I have light in the connector at the SAT module. Plugged in the connector to the SAT module and now I can select the SAT option in the menu. It gives me the ESN # and Sirius phone #.
Hopefully all I need to do now is call up and activate a subscription, I thought I would at least hear the info channel but no channels appeared.
Hope this helps someone else out.

Also the hardest part was trying to free the MOST connectors from their bracket lol...
