In all of Vishnu's replies about the N55, he's been positive about it getting the big single eventually.
It'll probably be a year though... he's got the AT's in the shop now, the Xi's will probably be next or the 1 series. We won't get any development until the more popular N54 car's kits are finished. The good thing is that the F30's use the exact same turbo/manifold, so the N55 numbers will grow quickly with all the great F30 reviews out there. Patience. |

BTW, I *LOVE* the way my mostly stock N55 drives vs. my father's stock N54.
And I have to thank you for inspiring me to get the Vanguard exhaust. As it breaks in it sounds sweeter every day. I can't wait until summer and I can roll with the windows down. Then it's time for dp/procede! |

They said they are all dedicating alot of time to it but the reverse engineering on n55 is very difficult... the end of summer eta was also just a best guest. But I am hearing from a few dealers in my area that Cobb will never submit to a date and they think it will be sooner than what Cobb is letting us know...

The big problem for the n55 is going to be the n20. With 10x the sales numbers, almost every aftermarket co that was working on n55 is going to put it behind n20 R&D as the payout will be much better for the n20.

I thought about it but the fact that I have to send them my ecu is a deal killer. If they had a local shop then I would do it in a heart beat.

Interesting but for 1099.00 those numbers are weaker than what Dinan is offering and Dinan has warranty. This is so frustrating.. Procede didnt work for me, Dinan wants too much money and the power delivery is weak. I already have the performance package on my car, if I am reading the active numbers it wont be anything to write home about. If Cobb comes out with similar numbers I am selling this pos n55 car lol.

It is expensive, if they could offer this for 1 000$ (hand held device and the software) I would buy this... The power curve is nice and safe. Group buy anyone? Summer is comming fast, a simple no headache 50 whp bump would be nice. |
