I'm 37 and am currently paying 700$ for my 04 Acura TL. The quote I got for the e90 335i is 1200$. Both prices include "As new value". My insurance advisor asked me if I was planning on installing an alarm system. I said no since no one can go anywhere with this car without a towing. She did not mention if I'm actually getting a rebate for the immobilizer but...

... By the way, do you know what to ask your insurance to be able to drive your car on the track?

I'd like to participate to either BMW driving training or BMW Club events at Mosport, Calaboogie or/and Mont Tremblant.

Thanks,
JF

As I understand those events usually sell special track insurance.... I don't think your own insurance company will cover your car on a track.

Try searching, I think there are some threads on this topic.

Track insurance is usually about $50-$100 for the day. You could probably get your regular insurance to cover it, but I have a feeling it would be a lot of cash.

Thanks findtom and Picus. This is good info. I will search more also.

Picus: Your car looks great!

I'd certainly use your services if I was closer to Toronto!
