Can't be arsed mate. Need a real reason to get into a war and this isn't impressing me at all. Said my piece and Nic knows she has nothing to defend. Some people just have tiny...issues. to all

Bad luck Nic, it is a complete p!sser when this sort of thing happens.
Can't believe no-one has ribbed you yet about getting a colour match given the banter from your previous thread (I can say that as I was one of the few who put their neck on the line with good comments about your new purchase ). My old next door neighbour has just bought himself a 944 Cab. Not seen it yet but am looking forward to getting a closer look on Saturday.

Retro is when something NEW is styled to look old such as a Fiat 500, Dualit toasters, etc.. |

http://www.thefreedictionary.com/retro
http://www.retroshow.co.uk/ - A show for cars made from the 1960's-1980's says "If fuel injection, traction control, power steering, and 27 different airbags are your idea of motoring hell, then you’ll feel at home at the Retro Show. Here you’ll only find real cars and bikes with real style unmolested by Eurocrats." That doesn't describe something new that is wannabe old alla Fiat 500 that describes real cars from the 60's-80's! At least if I were to buy a Fiat 500 or Mini, it would be a real 500 or Mini

A fashion reminiscent of the past Retro is a term used to describe, denote or classify culturally outdated or aged trends, modes, or fashions, from the overall postmodern past, but have since that time become functionally or superficially the norm once again Retro cars Retro cars are vehicles that bear characteristics inspired by past cars while still technologically modern' How can something old become retro! It is just old. Something new can be designed or styled in a retro way, or maybe things could be worn/used in a retro manner but in my book, an old car is an old car! A modern car that is 'designed' to look old is retro! A new fashion can be a retro fashion (for example a mini skirt sold in the high street today). A room could be decorated in a retro way. (I was saying it a bit 'tongue in cheek' Nic to wind you up tho' ) |

Well my car has experience on it's side!
The modern stuff is made to LOOK retro, the old stuff IS retro, thats the way I look at it.

So your telling me a show dedicated to what I call retro cars, a magazine dedicated to retro car and numerous websites are wrong? Fair enough, lets all hear it for Mr. M3, wordsmith extraordinaire.
