As long as you run 93 octane with your current setup, run map 2. Map 7 is for race gas.
Map 0: Stock bypass. This is the only map you may use a BT cable with. Map 1: 13psi (suggested for most stock applications. Conservative mapping.) Map 2: 14.5psi (suggested for bolt on mods with 93 octane. Close to JB3 map 7.) Map 3: Progressive meth (see guide to enable) Map 4: Stock map w/ CAN active. Soon to be our economy map. Map 6: Custom map. Active but be careful with it. Map 7: 16.5psi. A light weight race map. Last edited by fishbone0701; 04-27-2012 at 02:00 PM.. |

The charge pipes are known to fail even under stock tune. I'm leasing mine and still put the cp on and have a dp with the stage 2. Go big or don't do it at all.

This is incorrect, the correct one would be
Maps: Map 0: Stock bypass. This is the only map you may use the OBDII diagnostic port with. Set to map 0 before dropping off for service, using a BT, etc. Map 1: 12.5psi (suggested for most applications. The higher the octane the more power you'll make.) Map 2: 14psi (suggested for those with a downpipe and 93 octane. May also require octane booster on top of 93 octane for optimal performance. We suggest NOS Race Formula w/ MMT.) Map 3: Progressive meth mapping with flow sensor failsafe. See guide to enable. Meth use isn't supported/suggested without a flow sensor and map 3. Map 4: Stock map w/ CAN active. Soon to be our economy map. Map 5: Not developed for N55 yet Map 6: Custom tuning map. Map 7: 16psi race gas map. 100+ RM2 octane race gas required. reference and proof: http://www.n54tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13189 Quote:
