Problems with my Lux H8 V3 Angel Eyes

Have you guys ever had any issues with your Lux Angel Eyes burning out or flickering after a couple months?

I bought a set last August and have been experiencing some issues lately. 2 weeks ago, i started my car and got a bulb error. So I stepped outside and noticed my driver side angel eyes were out. I was going to get them checked at a shop but they ended up working again after a couple days.

This afternoon i got the bulb error and stepped outside and noticed the driver side Angel Eyes flickering and completely shutting off.

Not sure whats wrong or what to do next? any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks.

not sure, but you might want to check all the wires if there is anything loose?

I have LUX V3's and havent had any problems so far.
My suggestion would be contact whoever u bought em from....maybe u got a faulty set and they'll send u a new one to try n install and see if that fixes the problem.
Also u could try installing the OEM bulbs again for a few days....that would help determine if it's the LUX bulbs or ur car.

Hope that helps!

Within first 2 two weeks of my LUX V3 purchase, the driver's side bulb had blew after the error popped. Then another two weeks later the passenger side threw an error and blew shortly after.

Going to try MTEC's out now.

But yeah, not the best experience with LUX V3 on my end.

Try contacting Marc @ Lux. He seems to pride himself on customer service and if there is an issue with his lights I am sure he will take care of you.

Try the BMS 4-LED lights I have them in Mississauga. Getting pretty good reviews when compared to Lux.

wow, I got the exactly the same issue as yours. The one on the drive side started flickering, then completely off. But today it's back working again. but not as bright as before.

Is yours fixed?

I sent mine to lux and they fixed it under warranty. I'm wondering how much it would cost after warranty.

Odd. This happened to my set yesterday (had them for 1 year and 3 months). I've contacted them as well.

Anyone know of a solid, quality LED angel eye product for pre-lci e90? At this point they don't need to be the brightest, just the most reliable!

I'm sick of these things blowing (Not the Lux's, I've had issues with other brands... but this thread makes me weary to try the Lux's too!). It's a pain in the ass to change these things through the wheel well, especially with the weather we've been having lately. Just need a pair of lights that work.

ahh i remember that day at Timmy's

thanks Marc! my V1's are still running strong and they're just as bright as the V3! On their own, V1 and V3's are imperceptible but parked side by side, V3's are slightly more blue; again the difference is negligible.
