Smoked side marker styles
I'm having trouble deciding between smoked side markers on my 2011 328i deep sea blue. Not sure if I should stick to the oem shape but smoked or the f10 style. I have pics of the two I'm deciding between here:
View post on imgur.com If anyone has pics of these or similar side markers on their car that would be really helpful. Thanks, -Adam |

I bought a second set of clear OEM side markers and wrapped them in smoke vinyl...I also changed to a clear bulb instead of the amber, never been a fan of amber side markers.

I ran with a white bulb for the longest time. It was brighter then stock so people moved out of the way and saw you at night. |

I have the smoked F10 style. Got them off EBay for like $27. Although you could probably find them for cheaper. They’re affixed to the car with 3m adhesive strips that the seller put where the housing meets the body of the car. I really like them. Much better than my previous OEM markers that had started to develop an ugly yellow tinge to them. Some don’t like the F10 style on the E90, and I can see why considering the F10 markers are designed to match the F10’s body. To each their own. I feel like the original OEM E90 side markers had a mediocre design as is though. It’s just like a clear...wedge.

I think the F10 style are too big for an E9x body.
