JL XD600/6 Tuning

I decided to do what I was advised to do in the first place and pulled the trigger on a 600/6 to replace my 400/4. Now that I have this better amp, what should my filters (generally) be set to (high passed/ low passed at how many hz)? My 400/4 only went up to 200Hz and the 600/6 goes up to 500hz. Thanks!

The same as the old one set the rears doors/rears to the same thing
as the front doors.
The gain will be the only thing that is different .
If you still have the stock speakers you will need minimum gain
and still probably have to fade out the rear to a large extent.
Rear speaker are not really recommended by the stereopfiles here.

Right now on the 400/4 I have the doors low passed at 200hz and the subs high passed at 200hz but you or someone else told me those weren't the best settings but I will try that and see how it goes. My rear speakers and subs are stock but I plan to upgrade them shortly.

That frequency sounds about right mine are at 180 for the low pass.
You have to use your ears a little to find the right spot.
Or if you want to get real Nerdy about it use one of the eq programs.

Gotcha, I set them like you said to do. Ive got the amp in and running and it sounds great! Oh how I missed the surround sound effect. Next Ill clean up the wires since they were cut to power my 400/4 and it should be good to go. Thanks for the help once again!

By the way, what would be a good set of speakers for under $100 to put in the rear shelf? Crutchfield recommended some kicker 2-way speakers but I figured Id ask the e90 guys first before making an order.
