Does anybody have a st212 file you can share? the file I downloaded has a virus and my antivirus software deletes it before I can install.

This is a great post. I just downloaded BimmerGeeks software, Followed instructions and so far everything looks good. I was able to open INPA today and program my new injectors. I will be using some of the other programs this week.

that's enough to do everything you need to do .
Manipulation profile is for coding.(pretty much the same as Revtors profile)
Factory coding is to use whats present in the VO
to bring your coding back to stock or if you have
changed the VO what's in it now.
It is wise to make a copy of your stock VO and any modules
you are coding before making the changes .
Also make backups of your module coding changes so
you can get back to whatever you want to get back to easily.

If you go through the introductory coding threads they tell you
to make a backup of the VO as a first step before going on to
make changes.

Also I doubt Bimmergeeks is monitoring every thread here.

Any thoughts?

Are you doing it as Admin
from the Power shell admin window.
Right click on start and select the admin power shell.
power shell = command prompt in older versions of windows.

what step are you trying to execute from who's install instructions?

I was following the steps in the first post of this thread. It's the last step in copying the files. I was running the command prompt as an admin. I don't have my laptop in front of me at the moment but when I ran the programs they would open but had no options to do anything (ie: blank buttons).

The only thing you do with .ocx (active x files )
is place them in the proper folder and register them.
They are not something you excute they are executed by
the main programs you install when doing the setup.
Inpa and Ista d.

So once you place them in the proper folder and register
them your done. it's not something you ever have to deal with again.

From the current bimmergeeks link for their Standard Tools setup, Windows 10 detected the zpevdo.b trojan in C:\EDIABAS\Bin\Dr Gini.exe.

Fortunately I'm doing this all in a VirtualBox environment, so I just deleted the vm and will start over.

Has anyone else run into this?

I am getting the same thing. Norton security is picking it up as a trojan. (Heur.advml.c) and (trojan.asprox.b)

I got some kind of flag on Dr Gini.exe but ignored it and left the
setup on my old computer . Never had a problem but now my
old computer just serves as a platform for diagnostics
and a backup.

There ought to be a way to remove it I would think.

Updated all the daten files through BMW Coding took as instructed above. Still can't flash this thing. Using a batch file from Bimmergeeks. file runs but WinKFP throws errors:
"File could not be opened for reading \DATA\gtaten\kfconf??.da2
"Error in file processing (general) .\DATA\gdaten\
"coapikfinit()failed
and the last one is a 99 error something in German I can't understand.

Ideas? Screen shot should be attached.
