AFE dry cold air intake

I have purchase a new AFE air intake but I don't know do I need break in or not? Just curiours I know for exhaust but I don't know for aftermarket intake, by the way the AFE is best one and the sound is soooooo Nice.
Thanks

Break it in? I'd say no. As for exhaust the sound is what they mean by break in. Because of the metal and carbon and other stuff over time its sound will change a bit.

Nope just install and drive The ECU will need 100 miles to adapt to the increased air flow but just drive the car as normal.

Definitely better than the stock intake, but in the end its an intake and a company like BMW isn't going to design crap.
