Sponges brake pedal

I recently changed my brake discs and pads for the first time, everything went smoothly, I made sure I opened the cap for the brake fluid when compressing the calliper, I then closed the resorvoir and pumped the brakes. It goes back to the stiff brake pedal but after 10-15 seconds it’s back to spongey, have I got air in my brake fluid?

Bleed the brakes. Use a pressure bleeder.

I can't see how air got into the lines. It's likely the brake pads bedding in

I needed to get a brake fluid flush done anyway, so I got that done and there wasn't any air in the fluid as you said I was just sceptical since it was my first time doing my brakes. It's just the pads bedding in.

What do you mean by pads bedding in if I may?

I'm about to change my rear rotors and pads to.
