N54 Engine Block Swap - Crank but No Start

So, let's start at the beginning.

07 335i N54 with a top mount ON3 kit. EOS manifold with PI (850cc), JB4 + BEF custom tuned.

My engine hydro locked & seized Cylinder 6. Not sure how (getting PI injectors checked currently) but it would flood with gas (E85) so the piston wasn't moving anymore. Tried to salvage it but even with head off, piston won't move.

Fast forward to now, got another block & swapped it in. I used EVERYTHING from the original engine including harness and sensors. Only thing i swapped was the block.

I did timing (barcode facing up on cams, vanos holes into tool, tighten bolt then remove everything), i did rod bearings. Before i put the engine in, i checked for compression (1. 135, 2. 145, 3. 145, 4. 145, 5. 140, 6. 135). Did all the needed seals and gaskets and assembled the turbo and all the other stuff.

I threw the engine in the car. I made a list when i removed it so that when i installed it, i did every single thing but backwards. All went well until i went to start it, crank but no start. So then, i started to check everything again.

I triple checked ALL my connections, wires, grounds, spark, fuel, fuses. You name it, i checked it. Battery is new, HPFP is new, Crankshaft sensor is new. All positives are where they need to be, ground on engine mount bracket & strut tower are nice & snugged.

My question to you guys is, why? I am providing a log i made while attempting to start the car to see if that shows anything i missed. Also, i have 2 shadow codes which are as followed;

2FCA Fuel high pressure bei Freigabe der Einspritzung
2FDA Crankshaft sensor, signal: missing

Any help is highly appreciated. I have access to INPA if need be. ISTA is a PITA to install so i don't have that yet. Looking for any solutions. Ive tried A LOT but maybe someone knows something i don't.

Interesting situation, I’m in the midst of getting my swap engine refreshed so I’m curious how will this turn out.

I’d focus on the 2FDA Crankshaft sensor, signal: missing as a first step. Check the connection, maybe swap it out with the donor engine sensor.

I actually swapped the sensor out twice. The one in there now is a brand new one oem. Going to check once again the voltage on connection & also check if its seated properly, heard the o rings can get stuck

The signal means, start at the ecu to see if your getting power and ground. There’s no reading cause there’s no power to it, make sure you have it at the ecu, then check for an open line.

So i checked the power at the connector & its getting power (yellow 11.76v, blue/blk ground, orange 4.75v) now where in the ecu would i check?

So i just checked both Pin 29 on DME connector & it had power. Now after i once again swapped the sensor, its giving me code 2FDB now.

That’s an inactive shadow code, what else is it doing? Have you checked for fuel pressure in the hard lines, cause this may have nothing to do with what’s going on.

You have any way to check the scope pattern of the crank sensor? Need to make sure you're getting a good square wave signal from the crank reluctant wheel. Maybe remove the crank sensor and look into the hole while turning the engine by hand.

Getting 0 codes. Sensor is working properly, waves going. Still no start.

You have a way to clear adaptations? Are you getting spark?

Yea spark was one of the first things i checked. What adaptation? I was very close to clearing all adaptations but i didn’t.

I'd clear all adaptations. Wont hurt anything doing it.
