It's too low - now. But again the springs, after 60 some thousand miles are still dropping. I changed out the springs because the OE springs has 336,000 miles on them and had started to drop as well. I just have to say I'm disappointed on the quality of the H&R springs. I still have the OE springs, so I can swap them back in. I may buy new springs from BMW. Still deciding on that.

A manual transmission can be set to "comfort", "sport", and "track" modes simply by the technique and speed at which you shift it; it doesn't need "modes", modes are for manumatics that try to behave like a real 3-pedal manual transmission. If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."

Id say get new or lightly used OE sport springs. Hard to go wrong there as your 330k demonstrates.

New OE springs are about $600. Probably will install them over Christmas break.

Not cheap, but you know the saying... Buy once, cry once.

Damn, almost at 400k miles? My 09 328 AWD has 72k miles on it rn. I've spent about $1500 on it last year getting the oil pan gasket done along with the front thrust arm bushing done. and front brakes were done. I brought the car two years ago and 11 months into owning the car, I noticed oil on the garage floor. The PO did the OFHG and VCG. So, my immediate response was the Oil pan gasket was bad and it surely was. I got the car checked out and turn out the oil pan gasket was seeping, the front brakes were bad (I knew that because my steering wheel would shake when I would brake and when I would drive over 60 mph (bushings bad)) 11 months into having the car, I didn't have any tools to do the brakes or bushings myself. Other than those two issues, the cars been running smoothly. I did change the coolant flange with an aluminum one off amazon ($12). Hopefully, I can make it to at least 150k. Transmission fluid, diffs, and transfer case fluid were done @60k @BMW. Coils and plugs by me @70k oil changes every 5k/6months.

When you get to 150,000 you'll say to yourself, "I'm going for 250". The E90 is very well built. Virtually nothing wears out on it.

I'm 900 miles from 400,000. Should be a few weeks. I'm in no rush.

Yup, the only thing that'll "wear" wears out on any other car (Suspension parts, water pump, etc).

Well I posted a 400,000 thread awhile back. It's at 416,000 now. I think I gave an update in the 400,000 thread on the last page at the end of last year.
