'07 325i - Engine Problem
Driving home tonight my engine revs felt off and i could see they weren't as steady as normal, as i tried accelerating slowly the engine struggled slightly and then the engine warning light came on.
I pulled over and took a video: Just wondering if anyone had any experience with this kind of problem? So i can gauge if it's going to cost a fortune or not. It drove home okay with me being very careful. Obviously i'll get it to a garage soon though. Thanks for any input you have, will be appreciated. David |

Do you have rough vibrating sound at idle after the car is warmed up? In that case I suspect one of the ignition coils went wrong.
I had vibrating sound at idle and eventually the small yellow engine light came out as well. After reading the OBD code it was due to failed ignition coil of a certain cylinder and car went fine after the coil replacement... |
