bt cable for alpine trans tuning
i have searched and know there is a cable to use to do the alpine trans. flash but need to know if the bt cable qualifies. btw if not where can i buy this cable? or anybody in va. that has and can do this?

Bt cable will not work because it uses a different protocol. You need an INPA cable which you can get from one stop electronics or bm technic. Look on the bmw coding forum, there may be other options but I know those two cables work for sure.

As above, got mine from one stop - it is a good cable to have as you can run all the programming, the flash for the trans and diagnostics software and they are cheap cables to get.
