Tried H&r touring cup kit? A guy in Vietnam said his dad gets sleepy in his car even though the roads are bad. St's are harsh/stiff? Mine aren't.

It's Speedfan who said that and I actually started a thread about the cup kits so check it out if you want input from other members.

I've had the ST coils since Jan and I don't think they are stiff. Well stiffer than nonsport for sure but that ride was floaty as hell lol. I've driven my parents and they didn't complain at all.

Thanks for the input guys. I guess recently I've been second guessing about purchasing ST coilovers but you guys helped me silence them. Once I get my next paycheck I'll most likely make the purchase

Yeah I might be at next Fridays meet for coffee and you can see how they ride on mine.

Beyond Wonderland bought my tickets, who else is going?

Hm. My ride quality is seriously getting to me.. My car finally hit 70k the other day so I might just find a set of coilovers. I wonder if Grant still wants to pick up my H&R springs...

Missing my car here in Paris

May have some serious plans for October, not sure if I want to pull the trigger, though.

If you find a set of euro pre-LCI halogens on the side of the road, would you mind bringing it back home? Haha

It was alright at best. The cold rolled in so we just went to In-N-Out and ate there and chilled for a bit before splitting.

Did you go with a trunk mount? Any pics? I'm trying to work out how to do a stealth install in the trunk.

Nice so how did you run it through the fire wall? End up punching a hole?

I did a trunk mount, against the rear seat wall. Chose this spot because unless you got down or moved back you can't see the tank. Pump is under the carpet in the hole so overall its pretty stealthy. Up front I used the Insultherm heat shielding from howerton engineering so there are no obvious tubes or wires.

I might get a bigger tank because mine is only a 1.5 gallon one and to keep it stealthy I'll have a audio shop install a dumby wall, that would be the best option. Pics to come later after I do some logs first

Yes but I was able to get that impossible push fitting off using a wrench. Made it a lot easier so I didn't have to punch a very big hole. What's nice is that BMW had left a couple of open spots in the firewall just for this purpose (running wires that is)

Pretty much what I'm thinking. I drew up some plans, basically a little "step shelf" up against the rear seats. Should be good for 2-3 gallons.
