Glow Plug controller removal (plugs)
Hi,
I'm getting a code for glow plug controller on my N57 3.0 (UK car) i've had a look at the controller and as I've heard, looks hard but do able with intake on. the larger plug looks standard, push tab to remove. what style of tab is on the round plug? just to save me time and maybe breaking a clip! Thanks, I do have a long 90* pick,
So the big plug has two tabs to depress? I can see one when looking at me like most electric connectors. And the round one is the one you need the pick for? As in your thread, it’ll take a lot of faffing first time but after that it’ll be easier |

It'll be hard to remove the connectors at the controller. While squeezing the tabs wedge a flat screwdriver or the 90 pick in between the connector and controller to push it outward.
