Independent BMW Auto Repair in Bay Area, Recommendations Please
Can anyone recommend a highly ethical and knowledgable independent BMW auto repair shop or mechanic in the Bay Area please. Someone who does the job the right way and adheres to proper procedures such as using the proper torque to tighten things up.
South Bay/Silicon Valley preferred but willing to go anywhere in NorCal Bay Area. Thank you |

I would highly recommend performance autowerk in Dublin. They are the most ethical shop I've ever been too. Honest and always got your back in terms of installation or repair. They specialize in BMW

Akins auto repair - champion on European cars, especially BMW's. Owner has a couple of BMW's himself and are very honest and economical on the wallet also! For service there is fast lane European - ask for mason!

Shop is closed but Josh is still doing work in the East Bay, I can put you in touch if you like.

Plenty of licensed shops like SpeedElement in San Jose, TrakSpec (sp?) in Fremont, among others. These cars realistically are not that hard to work on. You just need the right tools and the time. Either recommendation above is going to do you right, I know both of them and theyre both good dudes.

What's a fair price for water pump and thermostat replacement in the Bay Area? Labor and parts included (water pump, thermostat, bolts, coolant, etc.)

SJ at M-Auto in Concord. Taken my 335i and X5d to him. This shop is now owned by SJ. Great work.
