That is gorgeous. Interior complements the exterior green color perfectly. The Poplar wood is really popping in those shots too. Kudos!

Thanks a lot for quality photos shots. Congrats.
A truly classic color of BMW.
This color reminds the green of the E36 10+ yrs ago I used to see, except this color is much darker.
Wonder if anyone can show us a photo of a green E36 to compare?

Wow. I did not think the dark green would be that nice. It's gorgeous! What a great looking car...

I'm not sure, if after killing you, I'd take your car or your camera. Since I already have a 330i, I think I'm gonna take your camera. Those are some sick pictures.

Thanks again for all of the replies.

Yes, considering that I had to choose the color based on a 1'x1' color sample [no dealer in the area had a Deep Green 750/760 in stock at the time] it turned out quite well.

The e36, yes, a great car indeed.

Wasn't it 'Boston Green' at that time [then Fern Green then Oxford Green]? As I recall Boston Green at a lot more blue in it, more of an electro-metallic hue. Very distinctive though.

Poplar or Burl Walnut Trim?

Is that Poplar or Burl Walnut in the interior?

I just ordered a 330i with Black Leather interior and Poplar wood trim, but am not sure what it will look like exactly. The sample photos in the catalog are a bit dark and make it hard to tell the difference.

That's poplar wood which goes great with beige. I would like a terra leather which I feel goes better with the dark walnut. The dark green looks very classy. Congrats to the owner on a beatiful car.

Personal preference.

The older I get [early 30's now] the more I realize that I am somewhat unique in that I don't give a flying flip what anyone else thinks in terms of the choices that I make for myself.

To me, for whatever reasons [doesn't really matter why] the specific wavelength that dark green occupies within the visible spectrum appeals to me. This color is [to me] interesting, sophisticated, subdued, and yet bold within that self-same reserve.

Not that it matters to me but the simple fact that BMW offers this as a standard color on their highest volume vehicle would seem to suggest that I am not the only one to find Dark Green an appealing color.

I could ask why anyone would choose the absence of any color [white] or the totality of all colors within the spectrum [black]. I don’t ask those questions because they are irrelevant.

Hopefully people choose colors that appeal to them. Of course some choose colors based on what they think that other people think. In either case why would I care why anyone else chose any other particular color?
Yes, I have to agree, that's my opinion too.

And b/c the colour looks very nice on your pictures I've ordered Green Deep car too, but E91 with black interior.

Is your car the only green one here? It looks like that and it seems to me that it's very rare colour in general too.

I drove to a dealership here in Copenhagen yesterday and found several Deeep Green standing outside. It was cloudy day and you can see that it's very dificult distinguish between black, monaco blue and deep green under such light.

I got the same color combo 330i. Green isn't exactly my color but my 1st love was a BRG (British Racing Green) MGB-GT. So the good memories are still with me.

I spent good amount of time looking at the E90 models at the dealers. When I saw this combo, I said "stop! that's my car". I think I like it because in IMO it's really a gorgeous color combo inside and out. Gotta have those sport wheels to go with it though. And it's unique. The dealer was saying it was the only one available in Cal. Maybe BSing to get a better price, but I asked around and they seemed to be quite scarce.

Love your pics and your outstanding choice in colors!!

I really dont like green but it fits the e90 very well. It also looks good on the wagon with terra leather. Another CA where I work delivered one recently.

Is "deep green" the same as "deep green metallic"?
