Looking at Bilstein kit myself, does the po kit scrap humps, especially the ones you can normally drive over,? UK roads are utter shite unfortunately don't want to lower it too much

If I felt the need to redo the suspension on my 35i, I'd go with this ST kit. Link attached

I just bought the ST XTA kit for the M3. Not fitted yet though. I’ll be back when it is fitted in about 4 weeks.

Seems to sit about the same height as standard M sport did. So far not noticed any difficulty on speed bumps.

I very much like my Bilstein B8`s - I just did the shocks though so can`t comment on springs.

Anyway, Decembers bill has come to £440 as I bought me a Match Up 7BMW amp to improve the sound in the car. G-damn does it make a difference!

Probs going to need a battery in Jan, hopefully that's all though

Painful...still most of us have had similar costs during our ownerships Hopefully it'll be a while before it goes expensively wrong again

Strangely enough the injectors on my 35i are still the original index 1, having replaced all of the other 'usual' n54 'issue's over my 10 or so years of ownership the injectors are still all good.

Yeah very painful found out the original Index 1's were leaking, was hoping to get new turbos but that's taken a back seat now.

Might have something to do with running 20psi on a Custom tune, probably accelerated injector wear. I noticed Fuel consumption steadily dropping to about 14 mpg combined, and fuel trims going off too.

Only £35 for a new blower motor this month, which i haven't been bothered to fit yet.. It`s to cold and the radio drowns it out well enough

Battery still needs replacing really. Found out it`s the original from 2008 so no surprises that it is showing signs of failure.

Got the 35i out of my garage this morning only to notice a squidgy front drivers side tyre, currently sat in my favourite tyre place STS waiting for them to have a look, hopefully it’ll be repairable

Now I get you Been a long day lol.

A £15 puncture repair turned into £876 for a set of tyres, the junction off the motorway I went on was closed so I had to drive a further 16 miles to the next one, then had to drive back through the town's with heavy traffic to get to where I wanted to be, which took an hour & 20mins. Should have been a 15minute trip Got home decided I'd clean the car only to find the connection on the hose was broken, I repaired that only to find the lance on my pressure washer was leaking due to a split O ring. Made a temp repair with some PTF tape only for it to let go within a couple of minutes of using it & soaked myself with water. Then had to wash the car by hand

Still looks nice & clean now

Ouch on the set of tyres. Guess can't be helped sometimes.

At present my costs are purely modding and no repairs which is a good thing in one way lol.

Paid off the £1k bill for the dash retrim.

Although I'm starting to get a few noises from the blower motor so could be a new one on the horizon.

*edit that - just totted up the fuel .... £402.27
wouldn't be so bad if I actually got some decent mileage out of it lol

Same on the injector front. Unsure which mine even have in as I've never needed to replace them in my ownership.

Just picked up the 35i from STS, 4 new PS4S all fitted, managed to wangle a reduction from £876 down to £846 & they included a full geo. An expensive day but feel that I got a good deal, so am happy

'Just' the £846 for tyres & £80 of V Power for January.

Was nice & sunny here in Kent yesterday & today so took the 35i out for a scud about, tyres feel great, super grippy. Have never had new front & back tyres at the same time on the 35i before now
