So far no issues. Back to back pulls all the way up to 6500 RPM and even 7000 RPM and no ignition misfires or any sort of hiccups.

Did you take a log, was your timing effected in any way from before? At 28.5psi and 600+whp that's pretty impressive when compared to the PR kit and no issues

No issue yet. Still hitting 9-10* of timing with the usual minor corrections. I will post a log a little later. Let the coils work a bit longer.

Hi N54, why did you go with the PR coils in the first place? Were you getting misses? I have the dreaded cylinder 6 miss and have somewhat new plugs and coils. Versus swapping stuff around with no good results I'd try these.

They look nice! If you have any other coils on hand I'd love to see a comparison pic.

If you have scale would be curious of its weight compared to the Eldor (which is what i run). i think Eldor is the heaviest among oems (so far)

You ruined my surprise I do have a scale, was planning on weighing them out cuz I think I'm adding 6lbs back to the car with these over the Eldors

Ok wow I was totally off, the Eldors are the heaviest. Still waiting on s55 Delphi from FCP to come in but I am going to return them as I'm keeping the Dinan.

Eldor: 9.171oz
Dinan: 8.659oz
S55 Delphi: 8.711oz

Better pic in the light with some other BMW blues, it will look really good I think. Maybe just my own personal preference of liking the Laguna Seca sky blue too much

Vehicular diy has a video weighing the different coils. Looks like these weigh like the Delphi coils

N54, why did you go for the PRs in the first place? Misses that you couldn't resolve?

So there is 1 noticeable difference I found that I didn't think was mentioned, small, but the Dinan has little ridges on the boot to hold onto the plug better it seems.

Thanks man, you have a bit more of an open shot of them though cuz your relocated inlets and coolant tank etc. Mine's like getting a cheeky peak up a girls skirt a rare glance but when you do sexy as hell. I'm just waiting on this new sticker now hopefully it is good

Also car is running so very nicely, I got new 1 step colder gapped at .024 instead of .022 on stock turbos and the cold start is super smooth now at hovering around freezing temps. Only pushed up to 12psi on some half pulls so far but feels great!

Does anyone know what coils the 07 n54's came with? Curious if mine could still be stock.
