I replaced the SCR cat, but the issue is still there... Have no idea what to do next...

Does it tell you what the minimum conversion % is to set the 4d16 code? Its obviously working, just dont know what is considered an acceptable conversion %

What is the SCR catalytic converter ageing factor temperature a measurement of? That number stands out as unusual

I know this is an old thread but was curious if this issue was ever solved. I'm on the cusp of replacing the Cat myself after the stealer replaced the two NOX sensors and urea tank.

CAT

If you're under 100,000 miles BMW should replace the CAT for free. I got a letter stating that a year or two ago. Same for Turbo's.

My car has 109k on it currently. I'll be installing a new to me, low mileage cat here shortly. Hopefully, this will resolve the SCR efficiency issue.

Finally got my 'round to-it' and replaced the cat with a known good one. Had to weld it on, but nevertheless, it solved my SCR Efficiency code problem.

Where did you find a low mileage used unit? I'm at 145k and ISTA reports that it is my turn to replace the CAT

I have one with about 70k miles on it. I have to look at my spreadsheet to be able to tell you exactly how many miles it has on it. You would just have to weld it in since mine was cut out. Just PM Me.
