How do i get some more power from the non-turbo e90

Well my dad gave me his black E90 (non turbo N53 engine), car is 2006 but it has 2011 (?) motor swapped in, it makes around 200HP i guess ? im looking for like 200 more not gonna lie, what are my options here ?

If you are Georgia, USA then the best youll get is the 255HP N52, If you are Georgia the country then the 268HP N53 is possible but doubtful it was swapped into a non N53 chassis.

Either way the Best you can hope for is 300HP (450hp is not possible without boost)

I'm not gonna lie, expecting another 200 HP out of your engine is a complete dream.

Only mods worth a mention on these engines are a 3-stage intake manifold (+20-25 HP & TQ), Catless headers (+10-15HP & TQ), ECU tune (+10 HP) and MILVS (+ 10 HP with proper tune to take advantage).

Super charger is about the only thing that is going to give you that kind of power. You might be better off swapping in a n54/55 or even better selling it and buying a 335.

There are no good options. Sell it man. Save a few bucks and get a 335i.

300hp? More like 250, unless you are cobra Marty or that guy who was on the YouTube with the dif and n54 intake.

Anything you do will yield 200whp. Just accept it.

It's NA, so the best you can hope for is MAYBE 20% more than what you have already, unless you go super/turbo.

Best bang for your $ would be to sell it and buy a 335, without doubt. Of course you then have the expenses associated with running that car, but there's still no way your n53 will match it on power for the same money.

250? the 330/530 makes 255 factory...

If your goal is 400 HP, I recommend getting a 335

We don't know if OP is in Jawjuh the state or Georgia the country. N53 cars weren't sold in North America.

You have three options

1. Tune it up a little and enjoy what you have.

2. Develop some cams, intake manifold and a tune for 7500 RPM for 330 HP at the crank. Give or take.

Note: no one has achieved this much power, 15 years since introduction of the N52 and the best I've seen is 300 crank or 255 at the wheels. Naturally aspirated

3. Find another motor.

If you want 200 more, get a 335i like everyone else said lol.
