Need advice on going from Self Assessment to PAYE

I have just started a new job with an employer and will be getting paid PAYE. I was recently self employed and i am registered for self assessment.

Im trying my best to avoid getting emergency taxed and have been trying to find out the best way todo this. I would imagine i will need to contact HMRC and let them know my situation and do a final Self Assessment ?

Can anyone on here offer some advice on the best way to go about this ? I understand i will probably get emergency taxed on my first wage ( end of June ) but just want to get things in order ASAP to avoid this continuing any further

Appreciate all advice
