I've been to a meeting and there were some really cool people but most were not what I would deem "335 enthusiasts" but just BMW enthusiasts. There seems to be a bit if a difference in the 335 demographic.

I'm in Lexington and have a 6MT e90 with mmps. I go to Harbison cars and coffee and have seen a couple other 335s. That's probably the best bet to find people.

New owner(?)

Hi there, had an E46 for many years, looking to pick up an E90 330. Would love some thoughts, and the chance to try a sedan local to make sure it fits as well as the 335 E92 I’ve driven does.

Thanks!

Hey everyone, new BMW 335i owner here... bought it as a project; perfect body and interior, engine needs some work (but I did drive it home, oh, a thousand miles?) Will post pics later -- Andre, Hilton Head, SC

Took my old 335i to Total Mini & BMW Services and paid 1/2 what Hendricks wanted. Was a huge improvement BTW.

I've have lots of work done by Chad and the techs at Total. Don't forget that you get discounts for referrals .

I just got a quote for like $620 from total plus ten percent off for military discount. Still seems high though because 40,000 miles ago i got it done for $400 in VA. But hey it needs to get done right

Seems about right cost wise, or if you have a good air compressor you can buy the kit for a few hundred and DIY .

I don't trust myself 620 sounds better than a new engine

I understand. Link provided is the Bavauto video and it's not that bad of a DIY. I have an 335i and X5 with the n54 and n55 so the kit has saved me plenty. Next I have to figure out how to clean the F10 550i valves without removing the motor again .
