Fortune Auto Coilovers
Has anyone used Fortune Auto Coilovers for our cars? What's your experience with them if you have them?

I have had Fortune Autos on for a few years now, probably about 45k on them. 500 series, 8k F/14k R, all the options at the time.
Had a great experience with them once I realized the default spring rates were garbage. Rear springs swapped and struts revalved to fix the initial mismatch. |

BC's are made to fit crap with no platform R&D whatsoever. They are not the worst, but they are for the Stance crowd. Bilsteins are made to perform. If all you care about is how low they go then really you can buy whatever because none of the made in taiwan rebranded stuff will last a long time anyway.

Looked at them a few days back with the car up on the lift. No issues. Fronts will be coming up on what should be due for a rebuild, but no leaks at the moment.

ST is probably the cheapest I would go if I was looking at coilovers. BC is trash, heard this from many reputable sources. Lots of the cheaper and more marketed brands all use the same, base, Chinese stuff.

If you want Quality Suspension that lasts and win races, get MeisterR. The US website has issues with listing BMW parts but they have E90 stuff in stock. Only for RWD.
3 years 30k miles on my Mazda and not issues. Really high quality stuff assembled in UK. Their main market is in Europe. And $995 shipped in US for the Zeta CRD kits, more for GT1 kits. www.meisterr.com for US, www.meisterr.co.uk for EU, with full BMW listing |

That's the rate I'm thinking, too 8 front and 15 rear. 6/12 is the rate they use for RWD sedan. My xDrive E91 is 400lbs more. Now with 335i brakes and 18s they will need even more damper and springs
