Please, if someone could check.
I am not experiencing any problems that I notice with the exception that I wish certain numbers were higher. However as I progress with putting on the DCI and FMIC next week as well as my new NGK's (if they come in...), is there anything noticeable to anyone that would require my attention or I should keep an eye on?

yours with IAT's tracked https://datazap.me/u/grunt/log-15614...data=3-6-18-25 I was in the same boat a couple of months ago. I dont worry about that anymore. Interesting your boost runs a tad higher (approx 1psi throughout) than mine on the same map?? Maybe because its an IS ?? Here's a log before I did the FMIC and the boost was slightly higher Hmm slight boost loss but it feels stronger https://datazap.me/u/curt/4-8-19-75f...data=3-6-15-22

First log running MHD v8 Stage 1+ E30 Map. Can I get some opinions on my log, it would be greatly appreciated! To me, boost is off by a couple psi. Is that normal? Does anything else stand out? Thanks!

Can anyone verify this as true? Or have I been reading bad information on the different sites? |

Your logic on running the 1+ E30 map on stock IC is the same as mine was. I couldn't wait either but now that's its on its nice not thinking about IAT's anymore.

Hey guys. Completely new to data logging but trying to help my dad out here with his 2010 535xi (N54). Hes running a MHD stage 1 tune on an otherwise stick car. He’s been having some fuel pressure problems and a couple times in the past month, the car will completely shut off while driving around town. He’s able to start it back up and it drives fine like nothing happened.
I had him do a 3rd gear pull and log the data. He forgot to shift to 4th so hopefully this gives enough info. I’m looking at the low pressure graph and know it’s supposed to fluctuate but the lull in the middle seems strange. LPFP failing? https://datazap.me/u/ryansbmw/2010-5...og=0&data=3-20 Any other comments on this data? Seems like he might have a bit of a boost vacuum leak or solenoid problem. Here’s the codes he pulled as well. Active: 29DC- DME; Cylinder Injection Cutout 29F2- DME; Fuel High pressure System, Fuel pressure Shadow: 2AAE- DMW; Fuel Pump 2FCA- Fuel High Pressure ( followed by a bunch of german) 2FDA- Fuel High Pressure ( followed by a bunch of german) 2FDB- Fuel High Pressure ( followed by a bunch of german) HPFP failing? HPFP being pulled down by the LPFP?

That was a 2nd gear pull. Have him do another in 3rd. Those codes point to the HPFP but if you are above 1700 you should be fine.

Thanks for your input tho. My initial thought was hpfp but I havent read much about the entire car shutting off when that fails. Its always reduced power, long cranks, etc. Looking at the LPF sensor, that area between 3800 and 6000rpm where the low pressure sensor drops and stops following the rpm curve isnt a concern? |

What is strange is that the HPFP looks great in terms of pressure but you are throwing all those codes pointing to it. Keep digging and something will stand out.

I switched from v7 to v8 naps and noticed my cold start no longer revs high. I don't recall disabling it, anyone else notice that? I like my high revs on cold start lol

Thanks for the feedback so far guys.
Below is my log on stock settings. No sign of boost leak at stock boost levels, but it seems like timing is worse at stock than at stage 1. Could this be a hardware issue? Stock https://datazap.me/u/charmander/stoc...22-23-24-25-26 Stage 1 https://datazap.me/u/charmander/n55-...22-23-24-25-26 |

Switched to V5 e40 map today as I heard it is more aggressive then V8 E50.
I saw it has an option to desensitize knock. Sounds sketchy for a few extra hp up top. Any thoughts?

I'd replace the Low pressure fuel sensor before I replaced the LFFP. Especially, if it's original to the car and you are over 100,000 miles. |
