Perfect time to retrofit a auto high beam mirror. I have heard of the mirror electronics crapping out before.

Have you checked all three fuses to the FZD? The TIS Circuit Diagram for the FZD Module shows F7, F25 & F62 all providing power to the FZD:
https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/e...tre/1VnXbIVwqM

ACTUALLY: That's the fuse setup for 2008 & later. If you have 2007 built 3/1/2007 - 8/31/2007, the fuses are F40, F12 & F28 per THIS schematic:
https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/e...re-fzd/v63y2Sf

The Electrochromic mirror is A22 on that Schematic, and in case anyone doesn't realize, it DOES sense headlights from following vehicles, as well as oncoming vehicles, with automatic dimming of inside & outside mirrors, and high beams (says so in Owner's Manual ;-). Also, check the ground: Brown wire at X490.

Please let us know what you find,
George
