Well, the M3 will be in whole different league when they go FI too. But for minimal work (about 1hr on my car), and little cost, the N54 will give modded NA M3s a run for their money! And if they say the 335i can't hang in the corners...the last LACCA event had the top 335i BMWs beating just about all the M3s out there. I know it comes down to the driver, but still, hard to condemn the 335i because of inferior handling.

Boost:
15psi on map 6
16psi on map 7
16.75psi on map 8
17-18psi on the custom map

A/F:
13.5:1 in the midrange
12:1 up top

Weather:
85F' in the valley yesterday
I was just testing map#9 of 8D R4, and the highest peak boost was 15.8-16.1psi. Good enough for about 117.5mph on 100 octane.

Who said these things arent dyno queens. If i understand correctly, that is about 503hp and 518tq.

I cant wait for the upgraded turbos to be out, Then the real potential of these cars will be unleashed.

you guys drove down to Mexico just to do some runs? Or were you guys down there for other reasons and just decided to do some tests? Are there no speed limits in Mexico? and isn't it a pain in the ass to get through the border .. like hours of waiting?

I'm curious, where did you come up with the 94 octane rating? At first you said you had 91, then added "only 1/2 gallon of 104 to make a low 93", then you added more to make ~100 octane.
