Anyone have any recommendations on winter car storage? Looking for RI or southeast MA. I've had a garage as long as I've owned a BMW, but I no longer have that luxury.

Also, what's a reasonable price to pay per month? I’m thinking $75-$100 would be reasonable.

I was picking the X5 up from Max at NorthEast Autobahn, upper turbo replaced fuck bmw and fuck their turbos, and this loud as fuck white e92 shows up with an unpainted liberty walk kit in black on it, cf wrapped door handles and roof on deep dish 17s with a white dish black face. Hideous.

I was going to ask the owner if I could take a picture of it but I was in a rush and didn't want to have to start a conversation about N54s.

Looked like this but everything riverted on was unpainted black ABS plastic:

Would you let sudbury clean your car? Someone on here says I should not let them do it...

In other news a new map for motiv. Should be fun. Working on getting a stock n54 intake manifold for a direct port aquamist set up. I figure I'll do a walnut blast and install the direct port st the same time. I would prefer a metal intake manifold but as they give little gains I'm not sure if it is worth it. No sense in dropping 2k for a doc race at my power levels...

I briefly thought of also adding direct port nitrous for a small shot to help spool but I'm not sure if it is worth the cost. Be very cool I guess and BS bragging rights. I'm not sure the best way to activate it as I dont want a WOT switch, from how I understand things. Also be another thing to refill.

I would get to install an LED purge system which would look fancy.

Why you actually should purge;

Dude, spend the money and go to Q Car Care in Burlington instead. Tell Ben I sent you. He'll take care of your car much better than any dealership will.

Yeah but I get it done at the dealership for free and I get a loaner for the day. It can't be that bad...

When I want to pay for one I'll contact him certainly. Probably next spring if I get a detail in September.

Hoping to get the car dyno'd this fall.

Should only be like, $150 depending on your advisor...

It's a decent detail, tbh.

But to Z's point...for not much more Ben does a really nice job. We used them a lot when I worked for Mercedes in Burlington. Suuuuuper thorough with their details.

Well BMW Peabody just managed to etch a bit of clear/paint off one of my rims when I took the car in for the blower wiring recall. They gave my car a free detail and when I got home (~2min from the dealer)there was some wheel acid left behind my center caps. It leaked out, dried to the wheels in the heat and left some lovely marks on all four wheels... They managed to polish 3 of them but 1 has some etching now...luckily its hardly visible.

Ira Nissan managed to damage the wheels on my 370z with black paint (how this is possible, I have no idea). Ira Audi etched the wheels on my wife's A4 when she took it in for an oil change (free wash). I'm not sure the dealership is the best place to take a car for a detail...
