Guys, I am also considering with 12mm spacers on the front and 15mm rears. Do you recommend a tire shop to install the spacers or a mechanic?

I was thinking 12mm for both the front and rear but would get 12mm in front and 15mm in rear if there is absolutely no rubbing or negative affects to the geometry and handling of the car.

I plan on keeping my rims stock and won't be dropping the car... will prob just keep the stock msport suspension.

Please let me know.... thanks.
Anyone? There's got to be a lot of guys with my same stock set up. Please provide your feedback. Thanks

jtn001 - I have those same wheels and I run 15mm front and 20mm rear with absolutely no problems. You will be fine with 12mm front and 15mm rear.

I've got 193Ms and 12/15 mm spacers on my E90. The 12mms look fine on the front but could go thicker on the rear 18/20 mm, if I liked, but I think the E90 has much more wheel well space available than the E92 does.

Why would you need a mechanic to install spacers? You can do it yourself if you have a floor jack and a torque wrench w/a 17mm socket but, if not, a any tire shop can do it.

I have an 08 E92 sport with the 197 wheels and thinking about spacing them out a bit. It seems the safe consensus is 12mm Front 15mm Rear, but what about if you were to lower the car later? I am in the process of getting some coil-overs to lower the car a bit and want to stay on the stock rims for now

I recommend 12 mm front and rear, the same spacers.
