Thank you very much ctuna Mine is an E93 so I will read the thread carefully and see how to apply it. I'm adding an HD radio tuner. It will plug into the SIRIUS prep loom in the trunk, looks like a great spot for it.

2 things ... clearly the E93 bolster works a lot differently. There is a white square receiver clip attahed to the car and a square black opening in the bolster fits horizontally front->back into it. Also a little hook at the very bottom of the bolster which I cannot see grabbing anything in particular. And, one vertical top->bottom pin that slides into a small hole in the metal bracket toward the bottom.

And more importantly No MOST loom

Did you look for the bluetooth module under the trunk floor?
Maybe if you don't have those there is only a single fiberoptic line
to the trunk(amplifier)?All 07 335's came with l7 in the US to my knowledge.
And I have seen pictures of a fiberoptic junction at that location.
I think I saw it in the Denison gateway 500 install in the DIY section
which also might be of some help.
Those green wires are the fiberoptics I think did you follow them back?

I have a lot of options ... alarm, sirius, cdc pre-wire; bluetooth, L7 and i-drive active; premium and sport packages. So ... the trunk floor has a big unit with many antenna in/outputs, I believe this is the central communications unit with SOS, BT, radio etc. Right next to it, is a space with a pre-wired loom (presumably for Sat/Sirius).

Didn't follow the wires back, mainly because to do so would require disassmebling more of the interior, which I've already proven I don't (yet) have the knowledge to do without snapping off little plastic tabs etc. There is the right way to do a German car, and then there are all the other ways ....

So this puzzles me. Are the MOST junction blocks supposed to sit where I have shown it does not (ie in the far left corner of the car)?

Anyone with an E93 have experience? Are the junction blocks perhaps behind the side panel left of th rear driver's passenger (US)?

Hard o believe no-one with an e93 has had to access their MOST junction blocks. Here is where they are on a 4-door borrowed from another poster) http://www.e90post.com/forums/attach...chmentid=12532 . The e93 does not have a rear door, and the coupe must be the same. So the blocks depicted here must be in the side panel behind the interior piece that goes where a rear.door would have gone.

Any luck? It seem that there is not that much information for the E93 anywhere. Please post it here if you ever find it. I may have to hunt for it when I retrofit the BT.

based on BMW's installation diagrams, the MOST junction blocks should be on the left side of the car. Meaning, the rear passenger seat bolster behind the driver for LHD cars and behind the front passenger seat for RHD cars.

In my 2009 e93, MOST block was behind lh passenger side panel, *not* bolster as indicated in many places.

Remove armrest, unclip at bottom edges, pull/slide panel up to remove; top edge has post clips inserting straight down into top of frame. Think I had to remove section of door weatherstrip at top as well.

May have pics; I'll check tomorrow.

Thank you guys! I have an e93 as well and was frustrated and confused not being able to find that junction box. My car has L7 with a single TCU wiring option, sat but no Bluetooth. Was going to do a retrofit but considering the gateway box approach instead

Its not in the same place on a convertible it is somewhere along the side.

According to the TCU retrofit thread, the dealer is allocated 1 hour of labor for the whole job (TCU and parts install, MOST reconfiguration) plus 3 hours of programming. Maybe call up a dealer or independent shop to see how much it costs to do the MOST reconfiguration? It might not be worth the effort on your part...

After they’ve done that, you can do the rest of the retrofit yourself.
