I know I'm supposed to hook it up under the hood but I connected right to the battery. I've never used one before as I would start the car every 3-4 weeks which I will still do. But I had it lying around so why not.

Yeah that's what I used to do as well but got a good deal on a tender so trying it out.

so you close the trunk and its fine? enough room for wires? did you use O rings on the battery and just leave it there?

I closed the trunk on the wire and it seems fine. I connected right to the posts on the battery. I leave the battery charger outside of the car on the ground and just have the leads going into the trunk.

You really think so? I have chrome bolts now. Sometimes I think the red will look great other times I'm on the fence...

There is a little plastic window above the positive battery connection you have to open to get at the bare terminal/battery post

You can see the cable is not damaged:

This is with the trunk fully closed.

I think I'm going to order inlets and a replacement hot side charge pipe from turbos to intercooler that and the dual nozzel meth kit installed before our spring dyno day at granite state dyno. Just waiting for a 1 piece hotside pipe to be released.

Yes

I'm doing laundry and swapping out outlets and light switches. Having the place painted so time for all new outlets etc. I check my email and the forums that is about as much work as I am doing today. I might go make myself a cocktail...
