It's just the closure of one chapter and the opening of another bro. You'll enjoy the new one as that engine when being rung is just unbelievable.

I just still think you should give the new owner of yours my number to do a deal on that bootlid LOL.

No big secret but until it's done and on my driveway.. I'll not say what. Not a Porsche.

I get reliability, but surely it wasn't more fun than the M6?

M6 at the top end is unbeatable sound and fun factor wise. The sheer raw feeling when planting is hard to find elsewhere but you know I never felt my 335D would let me down or break down. The M6 always makes you feel vulnerable - like it knows your hiding savings and money from it. Even the Mrs isn't as worrying hahah.

All jokes aside, I encourage everyone to just go own a V10 sometime in their life!

I've been trying to weigh up whether to go for a 335i or an M3 for my next car, and I've now started to flirt with the idea of an M6, basically for the reason you mention above.

The only thing putting me off is fuel economy, as it will be my daily driver. Is it really as bad as everyone says?

YES it's BAD!

If anyone tells you differently then they're lying to you.

I've had the E63 M6, then the F10 M5 and now got the F13 M6.

The E63 mpg makes my current car feel like I'm driving a 640D.

We don't buy a V8/V10 to watch the MPG so buy it and enjoy a part of BMW madness/heritage!
