Replacing interior trim
I've just taken delivery of a 2011 328xi. The wood interior trim is not to my liking and so I've ordered replacement aluminum trim from a US-based vendor. In Canada I was quoted a over $1500 for the parts and labour, so thought I may give it a shot myself.
As a total newbie, I've no idea how to do this - but after Google searches, I now realize it is more complex than I originally assumed given air bags, shift, start-up button, etc. Can anyone point me to detailed instructions or perhaps assist in this regard? Thank you in advance, Jon |

As a noob you don't know that the best thing to do is use the search here on the Forum.
There's a DIY section with lots of stuff. Here's the Trim DIY you need. It's an easy thing to do with minimal tools required. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=137527
