How much power can a Xi can take ?

I like to know how clutch, 6speed man tranmission , transfer and axles front / rear an Xi can take ??? I had a quick look in the Xi section a did not see any post about it...

Any real story of daily driven with single turbo kit ???
Is 550 whp is to much to take ? (I'll have a beffier clutch to start with) ?

Thanks guys

From general searching I see around 600hp is around axle breaking power but depending how hard you're driving too.

Not sure how much the limit is but here is what I have.

370HP/550torq. 12 335xi. Can't and will not hammer it from a stand still. I was told X drives especially have tiny winy transfer cases that can't handle that much power. Rolling start...then zoom! No issues ... yet.

It's not so much about HP, it's about torque and the transmission. People have certainly discussed transmission limits (somewhere between 350 ft-lbs and 400 ft-lbs), but not many people have actually broken them.

The transfer case's clutches are sized to send most of the output to the front, so I would imagine it can handle quite a lot to the front.

The best place to look would be in the N54 tech section. Plenty of stories of broken engines and other mechanicals.
