Well, in the last five minutes two cool things happened.
(1) The Patriot set sail at 23:12 local (17:12 EDT) from Bremerhaven.
(2) My SA confirmed I am on that ship

Is anyone else on the Patriot? I could not help it, I had to start an official "who is on the Patriot thread."

Where is the Patriot going??? I need a ship that is headed for the west coast. Any ideas of when that will be??

What date was your car completed? Mine was completed last Monday and has been waiting at the port since last Tuesday. I spoke to my sa today. He said the last boat to the east coast left on 9/7 and is due 9/22. I can't believe it takes them so long to cross the Atlantic.

My car was completed on the 5th and arrived at the port on the 8th or 9th. The Elektra left on the 8th I believe (I posted about this elsewhere). You might be on that ship. The Elektra goes to Sweden then to Antwerp to Zeebrugge (Belgium) to Southhampton England and then to NYC. It may also make a stop in Halifax (can't remember). The journey takes so long due to the many stops. The Patriot avoids the Sweden and Halifax stops.

I just received confirmation that my 328i E92 did in fact sail yesterday on the Patriot! I was going to be pretty upset if I wasn't on there--my car finished production on the 5th--sweating these days out has not been easy...But now, just 12 days till it hits the US shore, and then hopefully a short time to get to Indy.

I have tried to track the Patriot, but the last location entry was on the 6th of Sept when it was returning from the USA. I understand it left for Belgium yesterday. Anyone have more current information? Thanks

I was tracking ships last week using Sailwx. Is that what you are using? If you track any of the normal ships (Undine, Patriot, etc.) they all seem to stop reporting around the same point (about 1 days trip from the western coast of England when heading toward Europe). I don't expect any reports from the Patriot until she is at least one day out to sea after leaving Southhampton on the 15th. Expect reports on the 16th ot 17th, though sometimes they do not report.

Just called the 800 # and said my car was "in transit". I thought for sure I'd be on the Undine.
