did i get the right anti-seize?

okay, so i'm still not sure if i'm going to use it on the spark plug threads. i figured i'd go ahead an buy some at autozone just in case. this i what i got:

permatex sensor-safe ultra copper silicone gasket maker

is this the right stuff...the assistant there said it was the only copper one they had...it does not say anti-seize anywhere

thanks

well, there is obviously some heavy debate as to whether it should be applied or not...i'm leaning toward not but the bentley manual does say to do so....I looked on the permatex website and the autozone guy gave me the wrong stuff...glad i checked

You are close. You need Permatex copper anti-sieze. Copper is high-temp anti-sieze. Silver based anti-size is for low temp applications.

Do not use what you bought. And you need to find a better parts store!

Whoa! That is GLUE not ant-seize! You use that to form gaskets on valve covers.

thanks chriztofor,

I went to autozone and returned the one they gave me. They have the one you linked above...however, I do not see where it says it is copper based as others have suggested on this board...thought?

I never used anti-seize, I just posted that to point you in the right direction.
