Haha I was eating lunch, browsing through Facebook & saw Dzenno updated the blog... VERY excited to not only see the v402 Maps but very strongly considering getting a ProTune from you guys in the near future (want to see the potential for aftermarket cylinders heads 1st)

LOL, it was FlyLow that updated the blog, not dzenno. I think maybe he was logged in as dz though because it shows the authoer as dz, but its signed Jake.

You sir ARE CORRECT!!! I saw Dzenno's name at the top & didn't even read through the whole article cause I wanted to spread the news on here

@enrita -- I'm trying very hard to not spend big money & I think that upgrading to Brembo 4-piston front calipers & a ProTune might be my last mods for a while

Yeah, I don't see why people are even thinking about messing with the head unless they are planning to build a 10k+rpm race motor? With the VANOS and the power that we make at redline even as boost has fallen off significantly, it appears to me that our VE curve has no problems up to as high as you're going to want to rev the stock bottom end at high boost levels.

Test the sport first as mentioned many times to see how good your 93 is = take a log

For future reference, here's how you do this:

Just got these codes, can anyone help:
  • P2096 - Post Catalytic Fuel Trim Bank 1 System Too Lean
  • P2273 - ?
  • P2C31 - Lambda probe in front of catalytic converter, trimming control
  • P2C6C - ?
  • P2C32 - Lambda probe in front of catalytic converter 2, trimming control

From those 3 I found quickly, it's something related to your o2 Sensors. It's more than likely the o2 sensors were incorrectly installed

Just to rehash what others have said- I downloaded the 4.02 BETA map off Cobb's website this afternoon and gave it a shot this morning- awesome map. I strongly suggest people try it out!

Where do you see 4.02 beta? I only see 4.01 on the beta page.

Sorry, its only been released for the 1M guys for now. From what I read on the other Cobb thread, it will be available for everyone else this week.

Just saw this. Atr has a parameter for auto shift smoothing

'Disable Torque Intervention by Ign.' The setting says the purpose of this setting is "...to disable some DME logic reducing timing during shifting. This can also cause firmer shift in automatics, not desirable to some users"
Anyone have any feedback on this setting :

"disable torque intervention by ign"

new maps

Does the ECU have to kind of "learn" the new map each time you change it? Are you supposed to do a few pulls to kind of "break in" the new map?

Is it causing misfires? Rough idle? Etc?

Only the Access TunerPro's have access to the v402 Beta Maps, we should be seeing them in the next couple of weeks hopefully

Even with a flash based tune there is a small "adaptation" timeframe (much smaller than with a plug-in), so a couple 3/4 gear pulls + it'll be ready to go

PS -- I got my hands on some E85 finally. Mixed it ~20% (3 gallons) with a base fuel of 93. Stage 2+ Aggressive The car purr'd & was flying thru the gears
